Reading Photo Contest

On vacation and reading? Turn that activity into $50! Win a $50 gift card to BookPeople, Austin's #1 independent bookstore, by creating a photo creation of you or another SAS Upper School student or faculty reading for pleasure.

Contest Rules:

1. Use Flickr Toys (the motivator poster, magazine cover, framer, captioner, or billboard) to develop your photo creation.
2. Photos must include SAS students ('11, '12, '13) or faculty only. Family members, including pets, may be in the photo.
3. Each entry will be judged on originality, creative use of Flickr toys, and its ability to motivate others to read.
4. Email your completed photos to Ms. Jansen throughout the summer. You may enter up to three photos.
5. All Upper School faculty, staff, and students from the classes of '11, '12, and '13 are eligible.
6. Awards: 1st place $50 gift card, 2nd place $25 gift card.
7. All entries may be used throughout the '10-'11 school year on the library's web page.
8. Prizes will be awarded by Sept. 15, 2010.
